During this workshop, come and learn about the plastic injection molding machine (and its shredder)
Discover the concept of circular economy, become aware of the different types of plastics and learn about manufacturing from recycled materials. Directly inspired by the proactive international community #preciousplastic, we will guide you creating a new personalized object from plastic waste.
This workshop will teach you to:
- Become aware of different type of plastics that surround us
- Operate a plastic injection press and manufacture its shredder
- Operate the CNC milling machine for object machining
- Stay informed about the various initiatives and communities involved in waste revaluation
- Leave with your creation as a tangible object
There are no necessary prerequisites.
Taking this workshop will enable you to use this machine during Open Labs!
